Sweet Dreams Retreat

Then you have found the perfect event, come and join Glenda and I for our Sweet Dreams Retreat in September.

 

Outline

All materials and tools are included and you will be guided through a number of exercises to get you familiar with how different media behave.

Three days gives us plenty of time to prepare surfaces, produce our own collage papers, practice techniques, play with colour and make new, lasting friendships.

Our vision is to create a fun, relaxed and safe space for you to experiment, play and learn. 

Your Tutors

Glenda Waterworth, founder of Chocolate Baroque, now works as an artist and art tutor, teaching mixed media, art journaling and bookbinding.  Glenda loves to share her passion for mixed media and encourages her students to reject perfectionism and develop a fearless curiosity while exploring a wide range of materials. 

Lesley Wharton has been working in the craft industry for over 15 years and is now the owner of Chocolate Baroque and a TV craft presenter on The Craft Channel.  With a background in training, Lesley gets a real buzz out of teaching and helping her students produce projects they can be proud of.

Glenda and Lesley are long term collaborators, having worked together for over ten years, teaching many workshops and retailer training courses together as well as organising the Paradise Weekend Retreats in 2009 and 2010.

Price includes all materials and tuition as well as all lunches, teas, coffees, biscuits and scones, plus an ice-cream tasting session.

This is a non-residential retreat, so you will need to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements, but we can help out with that.
