Walnut Crystals - 10gm bag

Walnut crystals are a traditional method for colouring oak, mahogany, walnut and natural wood. It is a natural Dye made from walnut husks and the intensity of colour is controlled by strength of dilution. Can also be used to age paper, ribbons (although not waterproof) etc. Dilute a small portion (a little goes a long way) of crystals with luke warm water, stir until crystals have dissolved. Apply stain to the surface with a flat brush. If a darker colour is required you could add more crystals (a little at a time), use less water to dilute or apply several coats of stain, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next. Can be used in a mister spray - add a few crystals to the spray, top up with luke warm water, replace spray top and then shake until crystals have fully dissolved. Always rinse spray top thoroughly after use to avoid clogging. Pack contains approx 10gm of crystals.
