She has designed this beautiful card for you to show that by adding some bright watercolours you can bring your stamped image to life. Enjoy. A Songbird from India by Shilpa Nagaonkar
Materials: Song Thrush cling mounted stamp Watercolour paper Blank white folded card Archival ink pad: Jet Black Watercolour paints or pencils Die cut word 3D Foam Multi Medium: Matte
When I got this stamp, Song Thrush, from Chocolate Baroque I knew, it was going to be used for colorful card. I took watercolor paper and used the smooth side. I stamped the whole image on it with Ranger Black Archival Ink. I've used artist grade watercolors here. I colored flowers, leaves and Bird first, using tone variations and then let it dry completely. Next I used dark yellow to color the background in this image. I cut out the image leaving some white space and adhered it on another white card using foam adhesive. The word "Thanks" is a die cut from Mama Elephant, which I stuck on the panel using multi medium matte. I hope I inspire you to be colorful and to create bright projects Shilpa
